About
Grove Drive-In Campground is perched on a forested ridge above Laurel River Lake in Kentucky's Daniel Boone National Forest. The lake, fed by the Laurel River, is considered one of the most scenic lakes in the state. Boating, fishing, hiking and biking are greatly enjoyed by campers. Grove Campground is located off Grove Road (#558) on a forested ridge above Laurel River Lake near Grove Boat Ramp and Marina. Of the 40 drive-in sites, Loop B is reservable, and Loop A is first come, first served. Thirty-five drive-in sites have electricity and water and five have water only. All drive-in sites have a paved vehicle pad, gravel tent pad, fire ring, picnic table and lantern pole. The four walk-in tent sites are first come, first served and have access to water, but no electricity. These primitive sites have a gravel tent pad, fire ring, picnic table, lantern pole and bear-proof food storage lockers. Several short trails start in the campground including Duff Branch Trail #440, Spruce Creek Trail #441, Fishing Point Trail (#442), Singing Hills Trail #443 and Oak Branch Trail #444. Fees: Overnight Use: Single Site: $46 per night Double Site: $92 per night Extra Vehicle Fee: $10 Dump Fee: $10 (non-registered camper)
